Cards Migration Lead | 8 to 16 years | Pune
8 to 16 years in Cards / Issuing, with years leading large scale Cards Migration programmes.
• Strong expertise in Data Migration Strategy: discovery, data extraction, mapping, transformation rules, validation, reconciliation — aligned to the structured migration flow
• Deep understanding of Cards Data Elements:
o Cardholder data, account profiles, controls, product hierarchy, limits, fees, billing, blocks
o ISO8583 fields, authorization attributes, clearing/settlement elements (VCX, BASE II)
• Strong working knowledge of card platforms such as HPS PowerCARD, VisionPLUS, TSYS, CoreCard, with ability to interpret platform data dictionaries & layouts
• Hands on experience with data quality, balancing, and reconciliation frameworks used during migration
• Strong understanding of API driven integrations, microservices, and card ecosystem interfaces (Fraud, Statements, Embossing, Alerts)
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, problem solving, and communication skills
• Experience in large bank transformations or Commercial Cards modernization
Key Responsibilities
• Define & execute end to end Cards Data Migration Strategy, including discovery, mapping, mock cycles, dress rehearsals, cutover and warranty
• Lead non traditional migration model focused on data extraction, source to target mapping, balancing packs, and validation
• Drive cross functional collaboration (Engineering, Integration, Migration, Testing)
• Lead mapping workshops, solution walkthroughs, data quality checks, reconciliation, and issue triage
• Ensure alignment with target platform capabilities and peripheral systems (Fraud, Collections, Statements, Reporting)
• Maintain migration playbooks, mapping specs, validation logs, reconciliation dashboards, and governance reporting
