Job Description

Required Skills Strong Cards domain expertise with hands‑on exposure to issuing systems, authorization engines, transaction back‑office processing, clearing & settlement flows, scheme interfaces, fraud, embossing, and external integrations. Experience as a Functional Analyst in large‑scale banking or Cards transformation programs, preferably involving system modernization or migration. Solid understanding of legacy and distributed architectures from a functional standpoint, including batch processing, real‑time processing, and API‑based integrations. Ability to work effectively in agile, squad‑based, and multi‑vendor delivery environments.Experience defining functional flows, data mappings, business rules, and exception scenarios across complex payment ecosystems.Strong collaboration skills to work with product owners, architects, development, and testing teams.Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to explain complex functional topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Familiarity with regulatory and scheme requirements (e.g., card schemes, regional compliance constraints) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams, ensuring clear translation of business needs into detailed functional requirements across cards and payments systems. Perform end‑to‑end functional analysis across the card lifecycle, including customer onboarding, card issuance, authorization, transaction processing, clearing, settlement, billing, statements, and card maintenance. Conduct functional gap analysis between existing systems and target platforms; define functional solutions, business rules, data flows, and exception handling. Elaborate functional specifications to support system modernization, platform migration, and legacy decoupling initiatives. Collaborate with architects, technical analysts, developers, and testers to ensure functional coherence throughout design, build, and test phases. Support agile delivery models, including backlog refinement, story definition, acceptance criteria, and sprint-level functional clarifications. Validation functional implementation during SIT, UAT, regression testing, and coordinate defect triage and resolution from a business perspective. Provide functional support during production rollout and post‑go‑live, including incident analysis, root‑cause assessment, and functional documentation updates.Contribute to knowledge retention and documentation, especially in environments involving legacy system transformation or decommissioning.should have knowledge  in Java + Kafka Streaming Platform, Java Development, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, React Development environments
