Azure AKS | 3 Years to 6 Years | Pan India

Primary Skills

1. Design, deploy, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service clusters.
2. Configure and optimize AKS resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
3. Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment workflows.
4. Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
5. Manage container image repositories such as Azure Container Registry (ACR)
6. Monitor and maintain the health of AKS clusters.
7. Manage Kubernetes manifests (e.g., pods, services, deployments) using YAML.
8. Configure and manage RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for secure access.
9. Configure AKS networking, including VNet integrations, ingress controllers, and service mesh technologies.
10. Implement security best practices in AKS, including Azure Policy, network policies, and secret management.
11. Set up monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.
12. Troubleshoot AKS cluster and application issues.

Secondary Skills

1. Strong knowledge of Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes manifests (YAML, JSON).
2. Experience with Azure cloud services (Azure VMs, Storage,Networking,Load Balancers, etc.).
3. Proficiency in scripting with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
4. Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
5. Strong knowledge of Linux and networking  concepts.
6. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
7. Good understanding of security best practices in Kubernetes.
8. Knowledge of Istio or other service meshes (preferred).
