Senior Principal Consultant

Job Description

The Senior Principal Consultant role focuses to provide expert-level consulting services across complex Oracle database environments. The role focuses on the design, implementation, migration, modernization, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and optimization of mission-critical database platforms. The position requires the ability to work independently as a senior technical authority while collaborating closely with customers, architects, infrastructure teams, application teams, and other technical specialists.

YOUR ROLE

• Act as a peer and strategic partner to client executives, helping them define business and technology strategies.
• Serve as the ultimate instance for resolving critical technical, operational, or political roadblocks at the client site.
• Guarantee that all consulting deliverables meet the highest standards and unlock tangible financial and business value for the client.
• Design and scale new, repeatable consulting products and service packages.
• Align with internal engineering, data science, and security teams to build comprehensive, end-to-end technology solutions.
• Manage, optimize, and secure databases, including migrations, upgrades, high availability, and disaster recovery.

YOUR PROFILE

• Extensive professional experience in information technology, ideally 15+ years, with deep specialization in Oracle Database technologies.
• Proven experience delivering complex consulting projects in large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience working with business-critical and high-availability database platforms.
• Experience in one or more regulated industries such as banking, telecommunications, public sector or insurance
• Previous experience in a Principal Consultant, Senior Principal Consultant, Lead DBA, Database Architect or equivalent senior technical role is strongly preferred.
• Strong expertise in Oracle RDBMS, system tuning, Backup, recovery and disaster recoveryOracle Database Security, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Advanced Security, ASM technology, Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate, and Oracle Exadata.
• Relevant Oracle professional certifications for both Oracle Database and Oracle GoldenGate are expected.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle GoldenGate, SQL, PL/SQL. Proven experience with database migrations of critical systém
• Knowledge of Linux, IBM AIX, Windows required for configuring and managing Oracle products on these platforms
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate replication to 3rd party products, .e.g Kafka, Cloud Services etc.
