Oracle Database Technology Consulting Manager

Job Description

As a Consulting Technology Manager, you will deliver and manage Oracle database technology consulting services and ensure that client engagements translate business goals into practical, high-impact technology solutions. The role combines strategic advisory, delivery , team leader, and commercial responsibility. Working closely with clients, senior stakeholders, project teams, and technology partners, the Consulting Technology Manager oversees end-to-end engagements—from initial assessment and solution design through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.

YOUR ROLE

• Managing Oracle database technology consulting engagements across multiple clients, industries, and workstreams.

• Defining technology strategies, roadmaps, target architectures, and transformation plans aligned with business objectives.
• Managing project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and quality standards.
• Identifing new opportunities to improve client outcomes, strengthen service offerings, and increase delivery efficiency.
• Analyze data sources, data flows and integration requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with internal methodologies, governance requirements, security standards, and relevant industry regulations.
• Monitoring technology trends and translate emerging capabilities into relevant client solutions.

 

YOUR PROFILE

• 7+ years of experience in technology consulting, IT transformation, digital delivery, or technology management.
• Demonstrated experience from complex technology projects or consulting engagements.
• Strong understanding of technology strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and/or business applications.
• Knowledge of a specific industry sector, such as financial services, telecommunications or public sector.
• Relevant Oracle professional certifications and continued certifications for Oracle Database are expected
• Expert knowledge of Oracle Database and Engineered systems Oracle Exadata (both on-premise and Cloud at Customer) and Oracle ZDLRA.
• Experience with hands-on DB administration (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Proven experience with tools managing containerized applications such as Docker, Podman, Openshif
• Ability to design and deploy solutions with different technologies on infrastructure level and integrated with Oracle database technology, like JupyterHub in containerized environment etd.

Lead Capgemini operations relating to market development andoror service delivery excellence. Are seen as a role model in their local community. Certification: preferably Capgemini Architects certification level 2 or above, IAF and TOGAF 9 or equivalent.
