Database Consulting Technology Manager

Job Description

As a Consulting Technology Manager, you will lead the technical design, development, and optimization of our enterprise solutions. You will supervise custom application development, cloud architecture, and marketing automation integrations, ensuring high performance, scalability, and robust security. You will actively participate on technical lifecycle - from initial architectural concepts and open-source custom development (Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Kafka) to cloud deployments (OCI), data  automation integration, and continuous performance optimization.

YOUR ROLE

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize application performance, ensuring low latency, high throughput, and efficient resource utilization.

• Architect and manage solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and integrate enterprise data workflows including real-time data replications
• Implement rigorous security protocols, data encryption, and identity management across all custom applications and cloud environments
• Act as the primary technical and development leader authority on projects, guiding engineering teams and aligning stakeholders on architectural decisions.
• Evaluate existing technology stacks and recommend modernization strategies that leverage cloud-native patterns.
• Architecting end-to-end security architectures for Oracle Database environments, ensuring robust data protection through secure configurations
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Ability to deliver services for Oracle Database, e.g. installations, high availability and disaster recovery, performance tuning and security assesments

YOUR PROFILE

• Extensive professional experience in information technology, ideally 10+ years with Oracle technologies, cloud architecture ad eterprise delivery
• Proven Pre-Sales experience
• Demonstrating deep product expertise in designing and managing High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures.
• Competencies in safeguarding mission-critical database systems through Oracle Advanced Security
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Oracle Database security frameworks.
• Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and Apache Kafka
• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Solid understanding of modern security standards, encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Strong experience in complex enterprise environments, particularly in banking, telecommunications and other large organizations.
• Relevant Oracle professional certifications are expected
