Cloud Architect - Consulting Technology Manager

Job Description

The Cloud Architect  leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex technology solutions based on Cloud technologies  for enterprise customers. The role combines technical architecture, consulting leadership, delivery and customer advisory across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. The position covers defining long-term technology roadmaps, translating business requirements into secure and scalable architectures, managing delivery teams, and ensuring successful implementation and knowledge transfer. A strong focus is placed on Oracle and Microsoft Database platforms, Oracle engineered systems, high availability, disaster recovery principles, security, cloud adoption, and operational excellence

YOUR ROLE

• Advise customers on technology strategy, target architectures, Cloud adoption, and modernization roadmaps.

• Manage consulting delivery teams, project priorities, milestones, risks, acceptance activities, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), multicloud, and hybrid-cloud engagements, including integration with Microsoft Azure.
• Define and improve operational models for monitoring, maintenance, automation, backup and recovery, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical leadership in Oracle Database, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and related infrastructure technologies.
• Build trusted long-term customer relationships and provide knowledge transfer to customer and delivery teams.
• Monitoring technology trends and translate emerging capabilities into relevant client solutions.
• Design and deploy AI based innovative solutions

YOUR PROFILE

• 10+ years of experience in IT and extensive expertise in Oracle technologies, database infrastructure, cloud architecture, and enterprise delivery.
• Strong expertise in Linux, Windows, and Unix environments, alongside networking, virtualization, containerization, and modern DevOps/automation methodologies.
• Architecture frameworks and delivery methodologies, including TOGAF, PRINCE2, and Oracle Unified Method.
• Relevant Oracle professional certifications for both Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Database are expected
• Proven experience in banking and financial services, telecommunications, logistics, manufacturing, utilities, retail, and public-sector environments
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database, Oracle Engineered Systems, Exadata, RAC, ASM, Data Guard, security, backup and recovery
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Database
• AI principles understandning up to implementation knowledge for OCI platforms
