YOUR TASKS
- Act as the key liaison between insurance business teams (Underwriting, Claims, Policy, Billing) and technical delivery teams, translating insurance processes into detailed functional, integration, and system requirements for complex core‑system implementations.
- Lead end‑to‑end definition of features for Guidewire Core Suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) or other insurance platforms, including configuration, integrations, data mapping, and workflow logic.
- Analyze and document API specifications (REST/SOAP), including quote/bind flows, claim events, billing transactions, payment interfaces, and integrations with pricing/rating engines.
- Map and optimize insurance workflows using BPMN and translate them into system behaviors, screen flows, entity models, validation rules, underwriting rules, and event triggers.
- Work closely with architects and developers to design integration patterns, data transformations, and service contracts between CRM, PAS, Claims, Billing, Underwriting Workbenches, and external data providers (risk scores, raters, document services, accounting systems).
- Validate target solution architecture designs for compliance with insurance regulations (IDD, Solvency II), audit requirements, product rule frameworks, and cross‑system data integrity expectations.
- Use JIRA and Confluence to manage detailed user stories with technical acceptance criteria, maintain interface specifications, track defects, support PI planning, and maintain traceability across multiple delivery streams.
- Support end‑to‑end test cycles by preparing detailed test scenarios, validating integration behavior, analyzing API requests/responses, and verifying system configuration correctness across environments.
