Java Developer

Software Center is a part of Capgemini Group.

We realize projects from many branches – from logistics, automotive, entertainment branch, to public and chemical. We are experts in many technologies, i.e., Java, Cloud, .NET, React or testing.

Department/project description:

Our development teams build and develop software based on the maximum and intelligent use of Java technology. We support world leaders in the automotive, manufacturing, commercial, distribution, telecommunications, energy and public sectors. 

We cooperate with experienced experts from all over the world, which provides a wide opportunity to deepen technical and business knowledge. It also allows you to acquire professional programming competences while maintaining the Clean Code principle. 

Your future tasks:

  •  creating modern applications for external clients using Java technology; 
  •  creating solutions for clients based on design and architectural patterns using the following approaches: DevOps, Domain-Driven Design, Behavior-Driven Development, TDD and "Infrastructure as a Service/Code."; 
  • working in international teams using our best practices and agile methodologies (e.g Scrum, SAFe, Kanban); 
  •  development around ​​professional software development, Clean Code, etc.; 
  •  close cooperation with experienced experts, and thus also obtaining extensive opportunities to deepen technical and business knowledge and interpersonal skills.

Our requirements:

  • at least 2.5 years of experience in software development using Java 8+ technology (Java 11 preferred) in accordance with the Clean Code principles; 
  • ability to write unit tests using frameworks, e.g., JUnit and Mockito; 
  • knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, Maven and Git; 
  • knowledge of AWS; 
  • experience with relational (MS SQL/Oracle) or non-relational (Redis/MongoDB) databases; 
  • communicative use of English (min B1).
