Job Description
We’re looking for an EUC Procurement Officer to support the delivery of hardware and software to users across the business. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys structured processes, problem solving, and working closely with both suppliers and internal teams.
About the Role
In this role, you will manage the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle for EUC‑specific hardware and software. Your responsibilities will include reviewing requests in ServiceNow, obtaining and assessing quotations, raising requisitions in Ariba, coordinating with vendors, and tracking orders through to delivery. You will also support software licensing activities using Flexera, ensure accurate asset and CMDB records, and liaise closely with EUC Desktop Support teams to coordinate deployments across metro, CBD, and depot locations. This position also includes occasional hands‑on tasks, such as unpacking, moving, and handling EUC hardware (e.g. monitors, desktops, and peripherals), in line with safe manual‑handling practices.
- Responsible for managing end‑to‑end procurement activities for EUC specific-hardware, software and licensing, across the organisation.
- Ensures that employees have timely access to approved IT equipment and software, while maintaining compliance with procurement governance, licensing obligations, and asset management standards.
- Requires strong attention to detail, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders in a fast‑paced operational environment.
- Includes some hands‑on tasks involving the handling, unpacking, and movement of EUC hardware (e.g., monitors, desktops, and packaged equipment). This may require occasional moderate lifting in accordance with safe manual‑handling practices.
- Software Licensing & Compliance
- Check license availability and consumption using Flexera.
- Manage license keys, product entitlements, and software allocation.
- Support harvesting activities (e.g., Project/Visio license recovery).
- Update CMDB and Flexera with new software, license usage, and procurement outcomes.
- Service Call Management: Review and classify procurement related tickets (hardware/software).

• Procure standard and non‑standard EUC‑specific hardware, software, and licensing
• Validate requests, approvals, and work orders in ServiceNow
• Obtain quotes, evaluate pricing, and raise requisitions in Ariba
• Manage software licenses, renewals, and updates in Flexera
• Track orders, chase suppliers and keep stakeholders informed
• Maintain accurate asset, CMDB, and financial tracking records
• Ensure SLA compliance across all procurement activities

Skills & Experience
Essential:
• Experience in IT procurement, IT service management, or asset management
• Strong knowledge of hardware/software procurement workflows
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Ariba, and Flexera (or similar tools)
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Highly Desirable:
• Experience with enterprise software licensing (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.)
• Understanding of CMDB principles and IT asset lifecycle management.
• Confidence working with suppliers and negotiating delivery timelines.
