Job Description
As an EUC Engineer, youare responsibile to lead and support the design, implementation, and management of secure, scalable End User Computing environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of endpoint platforms while driving modern workplace initiatives. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in endpoint management, security, and automation, along with strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise EUC solutions across endpoints, devices, and user environments
- Manage and optimise endpoint platforms including Windows, mobile devices, and virtual desktops
- Administer and enhance Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Autopilot, and related technologies
- Ensure endpoint security compliance through tools such as Microsoft Defender and security baselines
- Lead OS deployment, patch management, and application lifecycle processes
- Troubleshoot complex endpoint and user experience issues across distributed environments
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver secure and efficient EUC services
- Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency (e.g., PowerShell)
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers
- Prepare documentation, operational procedures, and reporting for stakeholders
Job Description - Grade Specific
Mandatory Skills & Certifications
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and Autopilot
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security best practices
- Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration and modern device management
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong understanding of EUC architecture, device compliance, and policy management
- Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, SC-200, or equivalent
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a Senior EUC Engineer or similar role within enterprise environments
- Hands-on expertise managing large-scale endpoint deployments and modern workplace solutions
- Strong understanding of device configuration, application packaging, and patch management
- Experience with virtual desktop environments (e.g., AVD, Citrix, or VMware Horizon) is advantageous
- Knowledge of identity and access management concepts (Azure AD / Entra ID)
- Ability to analyse technical issues and deliver practical, user-focused solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
