THE ROLE
•    Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products
•    Design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements
•    Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and scalability
•    Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks, database errors, and connectivity problems
•    Perform database backup and recovery operations, including disaster recovery planning and testing
•    Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data
•    Develop and maintain documentation, including database schemas, configurations, and procedures
•    Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and database performance

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience with hands on daily Routine DBA operations tasks
  • Good concepts in Oracle RDBMS 11g 12c 19c architecture
  • Knowledge on Space management, Undo Management and User management
  • Good Knowledge in RMAN Backup and Restore Logical backup and recovery using data pump export import Setup Listener Tns configuration
  • Alert log monitoring for alerts Data guard maintenance monitoring and make sure production and standby databases in sync Backup
  • Trouble shooting and Performance Tuning skills in Production DBs.
  • Supporting large scale, mission critical 7 x 24 solutions
  • Oracle 11G/12C RAC installations/upgrades
  • Experience of Oracle Scheduler
  • Database Performance/diagnostic skills
  • Excellent knowledge working on Sun Solaris, HP and LINUX OS environments
  • Sound knowledge of basic Unix Linux OS commands for troubleshooting database issues
  • Good at shell, Cron, PERL scripting
  • Full working proficiency in both Norwegian and English

Secondary Skills
• Scheduling verification Co-ordinate with Oracle Support for issues
• Knowledge in RMAN
• Telecom OSS/BSS domain experience is a plus
• Experience on IaaS/Cloud environments is a plus
