As the ceiling rises and the floor falls, a new role is emerging. AI tools have lowered the barrier to building AI products, while the need for deep business understanding has increased. Development is moving away from handovers between business and tech, toward integrated roles that combine both. Data scientists are moving closer to business, and business roles closer to data science. Alongside specialists, this convergence is giving rise to a new role: the AI Business Solution Lead.
YOUR ROLE
We are currently looking for managers / senior managers to join our growing AI team and help shape the future of how organizations create value from data and technology.
An AI Business Solution Lead is a role that sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and AI. Their primary responsibility is to guide companies in leveraging AI to solve business problems, improve processes, and drive revenue. The Lead role operates more on the overall strategy and leadership rather than execution and analysis side but crucially both supporting AI project delivery.
This role offers a high degree of responsibility, variety, and influence, with opportunities to work across industries and collaborate closely with experts in analytics, AI, design, and technology across Capgemini Invent.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Vision - Understand the company’s business goals and identify opportunities where AI can add value, develop a roadmap for AI adoption aligned with business objectives and translate complex AI concepts into business-friendly language for stakeholders
- Solution Design & Implementation - Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and IT teams to design AI solutions, define project scope, success metrics, and expected ROI for AI initiatives and ensure AI models and tools are effectively integrated into business workflows
- Stakeholder Management - Act as the bridge between technical teams and business leaders, communicate the benefits, risks, and limitations of AI solutions and gain buy-in from executives and key decision-makers
- Market & Technology Awareness - Stay updated on AI trends, tools, and best practices and valuate emerging AI technologies and recommend relevant applications
- Governance & Ethics - Ensure AI solutions comply with regulations, privacy standards, and ethical guidelines and monitor AI model performance and mitigate bias or errors
- Team Leadership - Lead cross-functional teams for AI projects and mentor staff on AI capabilities and adoption strategies
YOUR PROFILE
To exceed in this role, we believe the following will make you an ideal fit
- 5+ years of experience in AI, technology, or consulting and holding a Master’s degree in technology, economics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and technologies.
- Business acumen and experience in identifying AI-driven opportunities.
- Project management and strategic planning skills with the ability to explain AI to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
