Job Description

We are building a desktop application presentation platform that enables mature desktop services to be delivered through the cloud to a global customer base. The platform is predominantly based on Microsoft Azure and relies on modern technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) to provide secure, scalable access to applications anywhere, anytime, and on any device.

The engineering teams work with cutting‑edge implementations of virtual desktop technologies and actively contribute to shaping best practices in this space. The platform is used to deliver widely adopted desktop applications to customers through a modern cloud experience.

Your Role:

  • Operate, support, and enhance a cloud‑based platform running on Microsoft Azure
  • Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, focusing on stability, performance, and scalability
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues in production
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and support teams using Agile / SCRUM methodologies
  • Support the cloud delivery of .NET desktop applications in virtualized environments
  • Contribute to operational excellence through automation, documentation, and continuous improvement

Must Have:

  • Commercial experience in Cloud Operations or Cloud Engineering
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with or understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) (preferred)
  • Familiarity with .NET desktop application development and desktop application behavior in hosted/cloud environments
  • Experience working in Agile / SCRUM teams
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and an operational mindset
