Job Description

We are currently looking for a Lead Modeler who will oversee and guide PharmaSuite modeling activities, lead the MES modeling team, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, compliant batch and recipe models aligned with project and architectural standards.

Responsibilities:

Modeling Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate the MES modeling team (onshore/offshore), ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership and enforce best practices in Rockwell PharmaSuite modeling and workflows.
  • Drive design decisions for batch, recipe, and process modeling in alignment with project standards.
  • Conduct peer reviews, testing activities, and quality gate reviews to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Assess team capabilities and support continuous improvement and skill development.

Modeling Execution

  • Translate (G)MBR and recipe scope into executable PharmaSuite modeling strategies and workshop deliverables.
  • Design and maintain MBR/(G)MBR templates and modeling concepts within Rockwell PharmaSuite.
  • Proactively resolve blockers and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage sprint planning and task prioritization in collaboration with the customer and key stakeholders.

Technical Oversight & Integration

  • Ensure modeling activities align with MES architecture and integrate effectively with ERP, LIMS, and SCADA systems.
  • Maintain design documentation, configuration guides, and SOPs in accordance with GMP and GAMP5 standards.
  • Support validation activities and change control processes.
  • Participate in Wet Testing and Hypercare phases.

SCRUM & Communication

  • Collaborate with the SCRUM Master on sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  • Review and close JIRA tasks submitted by the modeling team.
  • Act as the SPOC for all PharmaSuite modeling‑related communication, including scope, priorities, and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Rockwell PharmaSuite modeling, including batch, recipe, and process model design.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring MES modeling teams.
  • Understanding of MES integrations with ERP, LIMS, and SCADA.
  • Knowledge of GMP and GAMP5 practices.
  • English — Upper‑Intermediate or higher.
  • Additional languages such as German, French, or Italian are an advantage.
