Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Middle DevOps Engineer with 2+ years of experience to support, improve, and automate infrastructure and CI/CD processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux systems, and scripting (preferably Python), as well as a solid understanding of cloud platforms and automation practices.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in developing, maintaining, and improving infrastructure using Kubernetes.
Manage and optimize GKE clusters.
Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and services.
Write scripts and automation tools (Python or similar).
Help implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Contribute to system reliability, performance, and security improvements.
Troubleshoot issues in staging and production environments.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance delivery processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Practical experience with Kubernetes (deployments, scaling, troubleshooting basics).
Mandatory hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience working with GKE in production or staging environments.
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration.
Scripting skills, preferably in Python.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Experience with Docker and containerization workflows.
Basic experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Understanding of networking basics, security principles, and system architecture.
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with microservices architectures.
Knowledge of Helm charts.
Kubernetes or cloud certifications (GCP preferred).
Exposure to configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Soft Skills
Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment.
