Job Description

The Core Infrastructure Lead will be responsible for leading the infrastructure workstream within the realization team for an OT platform environment.

The infrastructure landscape includes cloud environments used for development and on-premise deployments for final OT solutions, including air-gapped and hybrid scenarios.

The role requires close collaboration with network infrastructure experts, virtualization specialists, security engineers and DevOps teams.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Lead the infrastructure subteam (up to 3 internal Capgemini engineers) within the realization team
• Coordinate and support network and hardware experts in setting up infrastructure for OT environments using software-defined networking with physical hardware
• Drive the setup of infrastructure components such as compute, storage, and networking
• Ensure the infrastructure supports air-gapped OT environments as well as hybrid IT/OT scenarios
• Collaborate with security engineers responsible for IEC 62443 implementation, acting as the infrastructure counterpart for security requirements
• Work closely with DevOps teams responsible for CI/CD and platform automation

 

Who we are looking for:

Expert in designing, setting up and managing infrastructure for OT platforms across cloud and on-premise environments, including air-gapped and hybrid architectures.

Strong architectural or lead engineering experience in the following areas:
• Network infrastructure
• Configuring physical routers and switches
• Supporting software-defined networking environments
• Infrastructure and platform setup
• Setting up virtual machines and development environments
• Infrastructure setup using Infrastructure as Code approaches
• Infrastructure automation
• Implementing Ansible-based infrastructure automation
• OT infrastructure architecture
• Designing and implementing physical OT environments
• Security collaboration
• Working with security teams implementing IEC 62443 requirements, acting as infrastructure sparring partner for security architecture and compliance
