DevOps/Middleware Engineer

Your Role

• Manage, maintain, and support middleware infrastructure environments. 
• Administer and troubleshoot JBoss, WildFly, Apache, and Tomcat servers. 
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation and operational efficiency. 
• Monitor and manage IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) jobs and scheduling activities. 
• Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. 
• Provide alternative solutions and recommendations for complex technical issues. 
• Support Azure administration activities and cloud-based infrastructure operations. 
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless service delivery. 
• Participate in system performance tuning, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

• 4+ years of experience into Middleware/DevOps Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Linux Shell Scripting. 
• Hands-on experience in Middleware Administration. 
• Experience with IBM Tivoli TWS Scheduling. 
• Knowledge of Azure Administration and cloud operations. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis. 
• Experience administering middleware technologies such as: 
• JBoss
• WildFly
• Apache
• Tomcat
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible will be an added advantage. 
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced support environment.
