Location: New York, NY

AIfirst Backend Java Developer with deep expertise in building enterprisegrade backend systems and a strong command of modern AI tools to accelerate development workflows This is an onsite role requiring presence in the office 4 days a week in NYC office

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Java Spring Exadata Kafka and MQ
• Leverage AI tools such as Copilot ChatGPT Claude etc to generate 25-50% of productiongrade code
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to handle large volumes of data efficiently
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in a highly agile environment managing multiple tasks and priorities in parallel
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to deliver highimpact features

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of handson experience in backend development using Java and Spring Framework
• Strong experience with Exadata Kafka and MQ technologies
• Proven ability to use AIassisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with large datasets
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data platforms is a plus
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
