Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer
Location: Indianapolis, IN / Portsmouth, NH (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend and frontend technologies, cloud-native development, and serverless architecture. This is a hybrid role based in either Indianapolis, IN or Portsmouth, NH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
- Build responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Work with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL for data storage and management.
- Develop and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, EventBridge, and other AWS services.
- Write and maintain scripts and utilities using Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with XML, ACORD XML, SOAP, and Open APIs.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using AWS CDK.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Bamboo, CloudForge, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on Java and Angular.
- Proven experience with AWS cloud services and serverless architecture.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
