Job Description
"Business Analyst (BA) in Guidewire PolicyCenter: focus bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the insurance industry, specifically using the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform. They analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications for system development and configuration. Play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation and integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter within an organization.
Key Responsibility:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for Guidewire PolicyCenter projects, often through workshops, interviews, and document analysis.
System Design and Configuration:Collaborating with solution architects and developers to design and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter, ensuring it aligns with business needs and technical requirements.
Documentation:Creating comprehensive documentation, including Software Requirements Specifications, use cases, data flows, wireframes, and system flow diagrams.
Testing and Implementation:Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production releases, collaborating with QA teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive testing.
Acting as a key communication bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and support teams.
Impact Analysis: Assessing the impact of business process changes on technical requirements and the overall system.
Working within agile development frameworks, participating in sprints, and contributing to sprint planning and execution.
Maintaining and expanding knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter, insurance processes, and related technologies.
Identifying and resolving issues related to system functionality and user requirements.
Essential Skills:
• Guidewire PolicyCenter Expertise:
Deep understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter's features, functionalities, and configuration options.
• Insurance Domain Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of insurance business processes, particularly in policy administration and lifecycle management.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for interacting with diverse stakeholders and facilitating collaboration.
• Documentation Skills:
Ability to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for requirements, system designs, and other project artifacts.
• Agile Methodology Experience:
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working within agile teams.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
Understanding of testing methodologies and experience supporting UAT and other testing activities.
• Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with relevant technologies, such as databases, web technologies, and integration tools."

Salary Information:
Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is - 90000 to 96655 k /yearly.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
