Job Role
Job Title: DevSecOps Lead
Job Location: Hartford, CT
Key Responsibilities
Network Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement robust network architectures that meet the organization's needs.
- Develop detailed network diagrams schematics and documentation.
- Ensure network scalability reliability and security.
Infrastructure Development:
- Design and develop infrastructure solutions including servers storage and virtualization.
- Implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure services.
- Optimize infrastructure performance and ensure high availability.
Security Management:
- Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls VPNs and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor network and infrastructure performance using advanced tools and techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure issues promptly.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure system integrity.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with other IT teams including software development operations and support.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in network and infrastructure design and development.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols routing and switching.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in network security principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant Infra certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP CISSP) are a plus.
