Job Role

Job Title: DevSecOps Lead

Job Location: Hartford, CT

Key Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation:

• Design and implement robust network architectures that meet the organization's needs.
• Develop detailed network diagrams schematics and documentation.
• Ensure network scalability reliability and security.

Infrastructure Development:

• Design and develop infrastructure solutions including servers storage and virtualization.
• Implement and manage cloud-based infrastructure services.
• Optimize infrastructure performance and ensure high availability.

Security Management:

• Implement and maintain network security measures including firewalls VPNs and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.

Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

• Monitor network and infrastructure performance using advanced tools and techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure issues promptly. 
• Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure system integrity.

Collaboration and Support: 

• Work closely with other IT teams including software development operations and support.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in network and infrastructure design and development.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols routing and switching.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in network security principles and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Relevant Infra certifications (e.g. CCNA CCNP CISSP) are a plus.
