Job Title: Business Analyst – Insurance Domain Expertise
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the insurance domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze information, create high-quality documentation, and ensure that technical concepts are clearly communicated to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather and analyze business and technical information.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software products, APIs, and internal tools.
- Translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, user-friendly content tailored to various stakeholders.
- Edit and proofread documentation for clarity, grammar, and consistency.
- Organize content logically and ensure alignment with company style and branding guidelines.
- Manage documentation projects end-to-end, including version control and regular updates.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance documentation effectiveness and user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance domain.
- Strong understanding of insurance processes, terminology, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in creating technical documentation and user guides.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
