Job Role

Job Title: Azure API Developer

Job Location: Jersey City, NJ

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Lead development teams by providing technical guidance code reviews coding and architectural decision-making for complex Azure-based Java projects.
  • Cloud Native Development: Implement cloud-native design principles including microservices containerization (Docker) and distributed systems utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for deployment and management.
  • Integration and APIs: Design and develop RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring Boot ensuring proper integration with other Azure services and external systems. 
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze application performance identify bottlenecks and optimize code for scalability and efficiency within the Azure environment. 
  • Security Architecture: Implement security best practices on Azure including user authentication authorization data encryption and vulnerability management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders product owners and other technical teams to translate requirements into technical designs and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
     

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10-12 years of experienced resource
  • Strong Java Expertise: Deep understanding of Java core concepts design patterns and frameworks like Spring Framework (Spring Boot Spring Cloud)
  • Azure Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of Azure services including compute (App Service VMs) storage (Blob Storage Cosmos DB) networking security and monitoring
  • Cloud Native Architecture: Experience designing and building cloud-native applications utilizing microservices containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to manage the entire development lifecycle from requirement gathering to deployment
  • Database Design: Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB) for data modeling and optimization
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit) integration testing and automated testing practices
