About the Job You’re Considering
Your Role
- Design, conduct, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research, using AI-enabled research and synthesis techniques where appropriate to uncover customer needs, identify patterns, and validate opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, white-space opportunities, and differentiated positioning.
- Apply foresight and futurecasting approaches to assess how technological, societal, consumer, and market trends may reshape industries, customer expectations, and future sources of competitive advantage.
- Synthesize customer, market, competitive, and future-oriented insights into clear opportunity areas, strategic hypotheses, and points of view that support client decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and commercially viable growth strategies, value propositions, business models, products, services, and experiences.
- Explore how emerging technologies, including AI and generative AI, can enable new customer experiences, products, services, and business models.
- Translate technological possibilities into clear customer and commercial value while considering responsible, practical, and scalable applications.
- Help translate strategic opportunities into product and experience directions by contributing to concepts, customer journeys, service blueprints, product requirements, prototypes, and other tangible expressions of strategy.
- Evaluate the commercial potential and anticipated business impact of strategic, product, and experience decisions, considering market size, revenue potential, business models, pricing, costs, and investment requirements.
- Support financial modeling, revenue forecasting, opportunity assessment, and business-case development where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Designers, Technologists, Product Managers, Researchers, and other specialists from early opportunity definition and concept development through validation, launch, and scale.
- Facilitate collaboration and alignment with clients through stakeholder interviews, workshops, co-creation sessions, strategic discussions, working sessions, and presentations.
- Create clear, well-structured, and compelling strategic narratives, frameworks, recommendations, and deliverables that translate complex analysis into actionable direction.
- Use AI-augmented ways of working to strengthen research, accelerate analysis, explore alternatives, and improve the clarity and effectiveness of client deliverables.
- Contribute to business development efforts through research, opportunity framing, proposal development, and strategic recommendations.
Your Skills + Experience
- One to five years of relevant experience across strategy consulting, corporate strategy and innovation, product management, product marketing, design research, investment banking, or a related field.
- Strong qualitative, quantitative, commercial, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to connect customer needs, market dynamics, emerging trends, and commercial considerations into a cohesive strategic point of view.
- Experience supporting business, product, experience, innovation, or growth strategy initiatives.
- Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods, market analysis, competitive analysis, trend analysis, and opportunity assessment.
- Ability to use AI, generative AI, analytics, or other intelligence-enabled approaches to enhance research, synthesis, analysis, ideation, or solution development.
- Understanding of how emerging technologies, including AI, may influence future products, experiences, services, and business models.
- Ability to evaluate the customer and commercial implications of strategic opportunities and recommendations.
- Strong written, verbal, visual, and presentation skills, with the ability to structure and communicate a compelling point of view on complex topics.
- Passion for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of Designers, Technologists, Researchers, Product Managers, and other innovators.
- Confidence collaborating with and presenting to client stakeholders.
- Curiosity about new businesses, products, experiences, technologies, consumer behaviors, and cultural trends shaping the present and future.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic consulting environment while managing multiple priorities and contributing to high-quality client deliverables.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is expected. An MBA or other advanced degree may be beneficial but is not required.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $112,600 to $160,000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
