About the job you’re considering:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maximo Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise solutions for a major Work & Asset Management (WAM) transformation program. This initiative will modernize Electric, Gas, and Steam distribution asset operations through the implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.x, replacing multiple legacy systems.
This multi year initiative will replace existing legacy systems with a unified IBM Maximo MAS platform for Work Management, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain operations. The program will deliver improved asset lifecycle visibility, enhanced operational efficiency, and a more streamlined user experience for field and back-office teams.
This position will support the Electric, Gas and Steam Distribution Equipment Work and Asset Management project (WAM) including Inventory and Procurement transformation from existing legacy system. Based on the workload and project schedule another project work may be assigned as well.

 

Your Role:
Solution Architecture & Design:
As the Senior Maximo Solution Architect, you will lead the end to end design and integration of enterprise solutions for the WAM, Inventory, and Procurement transformation program. You will translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
•    Provide architectural leadership across the design, development, and delivery of Maximo MAS solutions.
•    Define application, integration, and technology requirements across WAM, Inventory, and Procurement workstreams.
•    Create high level and detailed system, application, and integration architecture diagrams.
•    Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, IT roadmaps, and operational processes.
•    Produce all architecture documentation and support project governance reviews.
•    Ensure infrastructure is supportable and smoothly transitioned into production operations.
•    Collaborate with data, infrastructure, and portfolio architects to ensure alignment with enterprise wide architecture.

 

Your Skills and Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree (3 to 4 year degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
•    Minimum 10 years of combined business and technical experience.
•    Energy & Utility domain experience supporting Work & Asset Management (WAM) operations.
•    Proven track record of delivering end to end IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8.x / MAS 9.x) implementations from planning through go live.
•    Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo MAS 8.x / MAS 9.x, including configuration, customization, and solution delivery.
•    Expert-level experience architecting and executing Maximo integrations using MIF, APIM, and middleware solutions; strong experience modernizing legacy system integrations.
•    Strong knowledge of systems development methodologies and systems integration methodologies.
•    Extensive experience integrating Maximo with multiple legacy and commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
•    IBM Certified Maximo Manage v9.0 / v8.0 Functional Professional.
•    Experience with ESRI ArcGIS, RFID, barcode applications, and other Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tools.
•    Hands-on exposure to GIS–Maximo integrations and field technology enablement.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $76,200 - $187,740

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
