Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the technical architecture, design, and development of enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions. This role requires a strong combination of hands‑on development expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to guide teams through complex implementations from inception to production.
Key Responsibilities
Own the technical architecture, detailed design, and development of Salesforce solutions, contributing both hands‑on and as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Lead application design and development across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.
Define and drive technology architecture and roadmaps leveraging Salesforce products and best practices, ensuring agility, performance, scalability, and security.
Design, configure, code, and architect large‑scale Salesforce solutions to meet complex business and technical requirements.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand current needs, define future‑state process models, and recommend optimal solution architectures.
Coach and mentor junior developers and team members; conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and security.
Lead and provide architectural guidance for integrations with provincial digital solutions and other enterprise systems.
Contribute to architectural project plans, supporting approvals for detailed designs, timelines, and resource estimates.
Support change initiatives by planning and executing technical architecture‑related activities.
Must‑Have Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration and customization
5+ years of hands‑on experience with:
Apex (classes, triggers)
Lightning Components
Strong knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC)
4+ years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce integrations, particularly REST APIs
3+ years of experience with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Experience working in large, complex, or public‑sector environments
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 160650 - 201495
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
