Capgemini is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of end-to-end finance transformation solutions leveraging SAP S/4HANA Cloud, with a preference for Public Cloud environments. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, technology leaders, and executive teams to define future-state finance architectures that align business objectives, enterprise standards, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance processes, SAP solution architecture, stakeholder management, and large-scale ERP transformation programs.

 

Lead Application Consultants understand the client business process, current and future, and map it to the technologies being used, giving a demarcation of what can be achieved through a standard implementation and what would need customizations or extensions to be done to the application. They may functionally customize the application, partner with application developers to design application enhancements and extensions, and work with business users to implement process changes.  This role in projects have strong client exposure. Individual actively contribute to internal knowledge development on a global business level and proactively coach teams. Individual support or lead bids, operate at director level in major client organizations, and master one or more businessorindustry domains. ‹ Individual is responsible for functional guidance over the whole project or application life cycle and leverage relationships with colleagues, partners and clients to build thought leadership and conceptualize new offerings.‹

Your Role

 

  • Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of SAP Finance solutions across complex transformation programs and cloud adoption initiatives.
  • Define enterprise finance architectures, organizational structures, chart of accounts, governance frameworks, and financial operating models aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with business and executive stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
  • Provide architecture leadership across solution design, integration strategy, data management, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Lead client workshops, fit-to-standard sessions, solution reviews, and executive presentations while serving as a trusted advisor throughout project delivery.
  • Manage onsite and offshore delivery teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and successful project outcomes.
  • Mentor team members on architecture, solution design, and delivery best practices while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Drive innovation and adoption of emerging SAP and digital finance capabilities across client engagements.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.

Your Skills and Experience

 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 9-11 years of SAP Finance consulting, solution architecture, and transformation experience.
  • Deep expertise in SAP Finance, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Tax, and Controlling (CO), with strong experience in SAP New GL and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud, with SAP Public Cloud implementation experience .
  • Strong experience designing SAP organizational structures and chart of accounts while translating business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles, including intercompany transactions, eliminations, financial consolidations, and multinational business environments.
  • Experience serving as SAP FICO Lead on multiple full lifecycle implementations and leading global delivery teams across complex transformation programs.
  • Proven ability to manage onsite and offshore resources, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate and influence C-level stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate and present multiple solution options, architectures, and technology strategies.
  • Demonstrated success mentoring teams, sharing knowledge, and staying current with evolving SAP technologies and industry trends.
  • Experience within a professional consulting services organization is highly preferred.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and independent problem-solving skills.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $88,544- $250,609

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
