The Quantitative Development Systematic Equity Strategies team is part of Asset Management’s Quantitative Research & Investment Technology group that partners with various investment teams and projects. We build and ‘own’ high quality, robust, adaptive, resilient solutions that are critical to investment management, quantitative analysis, and new product development.

The Expertise You Have

• Bachelor's degree (or above) in a quantitative or computational field such as Statistics, Computer Science or Applied Mathematics
• 8 + years of experience in complex software development and working with investment professionals
• Deep understanding and implementation of software excellence concepts(Reliability, Extendibility, Resiliency, Flexibility, Pluggability, Intuitive Problem Solving, Risk mitigation, Technical debt, Scope, estimation, quality, CI/CD, Unit testing, Functional testing, Load testing, Parallel Processing, Resource Synchronization, Performance, Monitoring, Alerts, Logging, Tracing, Observability, Supportability etc.)

The Skills You Bring

• Advanced Experience on Analytical/Software Engineering skills including Python, Java, SQL and Linux.
• Own the implementation of a research project through the entire software development lifecycle applying a full-stack implementation.
• Substantial Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is a plus.
• Sophisticated understanding of quantitative techniques and methods, statistics, and econometrics – including probability, linear regression, and time series data analysis
• Good experience in either equities, fixed income, or alternative asset classes
• Consistent track record in hands-on ‘development ownership’ of complex software solutions.
• Ability to effectively connect with multiple partners, including fundamental and quantitative researchers, divisional partners and senior management
• Thrive in working with fast paced competing requirements and effectively delivering business needs

Salary Transparency Language:

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $86129 to 127189/yearly.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
