Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OpenText Exstream Lead to design, develop, and lead enterprise communication solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in OpenText Exstream (Cloud Native) and a proven ability to lead complex template development, integrations, and high-volume document delivery initiatives. This role requires strong technical leadership, excellent client-facing skills, and hands-on experience across the Exstream platform.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Lead the design, development, and delivery of OpenText Exstream communication solutions
Architect and implement medium to complex templates using OpenText Exstream
Work extensively with Communication Designer, Orchestrator, and Content Author
Provide hands-on leadership for form and image composition, ensuring high-quality output
Lead and support version upgrades and platform enhancements
Design and implement complex XML data mapping
Develop and optimize rules, functions, procedures, and complex tables
Configure and manage multiple output types (PDF, AFP, PCL, HTML, etc.)
Ensure reliable high-volume document generation and delivery
Integrate OpenText Exstream solutions with Guidewire applications
Support cloud-based deployments using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and propose technical solutions
Act as a technical point of contact for clients and internal teams
Mentor junior developers and review deliverables for quality and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently


Required Skills & Qualifications

 

8+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream
Strong experience with OpenText Exstream Cloud Native version

 

Expert-level skills in:

 

Communication Designer
Orchestrator
Content Author


Advanced experience in image and form composition
Proven experience with complex template development
Strong understanding of advanced data concepts and large-scale batch processing

 

Extensive experience with:

 

Rules, Functions, and Procedures
Complex Tables
Multiple output formats
XML data mapping


Experience integrating Exstream with Guidewire applications
Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Client-facing experience with a professional, presentable demeanor
A proactive, positive attitude with a “Can-do / Will-do” mindset


Nice to Have

 

Experience in insurance or financial services domains
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Exstream deployments
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Exposure to performance tuning and optimization for high-volume environments


Leadership Expectations

 

Provide technical guidance and best practices to Exstream developers
Ensure design consistency and adherence to architecture standards
Drive delivery excellence and ensure timelines and quality targets are met
Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 96366 - 150000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
