Ideal Locations: NYC, CHI, ATL and SF (Hub locations)
Location
This is role requires travel to client site and is preferred to be located in a Hub location: NYC, Chicago, Atlanta or San Francisco. If not at client site, 3-4 days in office with some flexibility.

Capgemini Invent North America is hiring a proven Life Sciences Industry leader to drive transformational change for our clients and their customers.
As a VP and our NA Life Sciences (LS) Industry leader, you will be accountable for shaping and driving the LS industry agenda for Invent North America. We are looking for individuals with experience selling professional consulting services and building CXO relationships within the LS sector. You will be responsible for shaping and executing a forward-looking industry strategy, and positioning Capgemini Invent as a trusted advisor for LS organizations and clients across the North America market.
Your Role (Responsibility)
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Setting and executing the industry vision and strategy for Life Sciences in North America, ensuring alignment with both local market needs and global priorities
- Driving the growth of the Life Sciences business, with emphasis on exploring how AI can and will influence the future our clients’ businesses Personally leading one or more strategic Life Sciences accounts, developing strong CXO relationships globally, demonstrating account leadership, setting account strategy, collaborating with global capabilities, and leading strategy execution
- Maximizing client impact and leading high-value engagements, strategically shape the future of clients across the entire value chain (e.g., personalized health, connected devices, clinical transformation, enterprise transformation, connected health) and with an understanding of AI
- Ensuring commercial success through effective management of the industry team, local rollout of key offers and operational excellence
- Collaborating with global and local teams, ensuring seamless execution of strategies and contributing to the broader industry network
- Expanding and developing the talent within the LS industry team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, developing and empowering teams, building capability through recruitment, coaching, and professional development
- Being an authority and thought leader within the sector, modelling values and behaviors, and coaching junior team members.
Contributing to internal campaigns, think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development, and offering development
Your Skill and Experiences
- At least 10 years of experience in strategy consulting related to digital transformation in the Life Sciences industry.
- Hands-on dynamic leader with a strong focus on growth, entrepreneurial thinking, and charismatic role modelling
- Strong go-to-market DNA with an established and resilient network of internal and external partnerships at CxO and decision-maker level
- Demonstrated success in leading industry growth, client development and team expansion
- Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organization, enlisting support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions
- Strong interest in how AI is transforming industries, value chains, and value capture
- Strong interest in leveraging AI in your day-to-day activities and encouraging usage and fluency amongst team members
- Technical knowledge of end-to-end processes and their implementation in digital business models, customer engagement, intelligent operations, accelerated R&D, business transformation, and sustainability
- Ability to work in mixed teams of colleagues and senior executives, developing a collaborative style and fostering a positive, engaging work environment
- University degree in a business, technical, medical, or natural sciences field, ideally with a complementary MBA or Doctorate
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $350,000 - $450,000 with additional bonus and equity.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
