Job Description:
Role Summary
- The Head of FCC (Financial Crime Compliance) within FS I&D will lead end-to-end FCC transformation programs for Bank and Insurance, combining domain expertise, data/AI capabilities, and large-scale delivery leadership.
- This is a client-facing leadership role responsible for shaping FCC Advisory + Data + Technology + Managed Services engagements, spanning AML, KYC, sanctions, fraud, and transaction monitoring across the full lifecycle.
- The role will also drive GenAI-led innovation in Financial Crime, aligned with Capgemini's focus on intelligent operations, automation, and advanced analytics to modernize compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. FCC Advisory & Transformation Leadership
- Lead FCC transformation programs for global banks across:
- AML/KYC modernization
- Transaction monitoring optimization
- Fraud and dispute transformation
- Sanctions and screening redesign
- Define target operating models (TOMs) for FCC functions (onshore/offshore, managed services, CoEs).
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance strategy and risk-based frameworks in line with evolving expectations.
2. Data, AI & GenAI in FCC
- Drive AI/GenAI-powered use cases in FCC:
- Investigations copilots
- False positive reduction in transaction monitoring
- Network/graph analytics for financial crime detection
- KYC automation and intelligent document processing
- Partner with FS I&D teams to embed:
- Data platforms (cloud data lakes, real-time ingestion)
- Advanced analytics and decisioning engines
- Lead agentic AI and digital worker adoption in compliance operations.
3. FCC Operations & Managed Services
- Oversee large-scale FCC operations delivery including:
- KYC/CDD/EDD onboarding and remediation
- Transaction monitoring (L1/L2 investigations)
- SAR preparation and regulatory reporting
- Screening (sanctions, PEP, adverse media)
- Fraud detection and disputes management
- Build and scale FCC managed services deals.
- Drive operational excellence, SLAs, productivity, and quality metrics.
4. Client Leadership & Growth
- Serve as trusted advisor to client FCC Heads, CROs, and Compliance leaders.
- Drive large deal origination and expansion (FCC transformation + operations + AI).
- Lead proposals, RFP responses, and solutioning for FCC programs.
5. Regulatory & Risk Expertise
- Guide clients through regulatory remediation, consent orders, and audits.
- Embed risk-based and adaptive compliance models in FCC operating frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with global regulatory regimes (US + cross-border).
6. Practice Development (FS I&D)
- Build and scale FCC capability within FS I&D:
- Talent hiring strategy (onshore/offshore FCC SMEs)
- Capability building (AML/KYC/fraud certifications, domain academies)
- Reusable assets, accelerators, and solution frameworks
- Partner with alliances (RegTechs, cloud providers) to strengthen ecosystem.
7. Governance & Delivery Excellence
- Establish program governance across multi-million dollar engagements.
- Track KPIs across:
- Compliance effectiveness
- Alert quality / false positives
- Investigation throughput
- Ensure strong reporting, auditability, and traceability across FCC processes.
Qualifications
- 15-20 years in Financial Crime Compliance (AML, KYC, Fraud, Sanctions).
- Strong experience in:
- Large-scale FCC transformation programs
- Consulting + delivery leadership (not just BAU compliance)
- Proven track record managing global delivery teams and client relationships.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 225000 to 275000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
