Job Description

Role Overview:

The Flutter Developer is responsible for designing developing and delivering high quality mobile applications using the Flutter framework for clients within the Financial Services Insurance domain. The role requires strong technical competence in cross platform mobile development an understanding of digital customer journeys in insurance and the ability to work collaboratively with product owners business analysts architects and QA teams to build secure scalable and seamless mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mobile applications using Flutter and Dart to support insurance processes such as onboarding policy servicing claims billing and customer engagement
Implement reusable UI components state management solutions and responsive layouts suitable for both Android and iOS platforms
Integrate mobile applications with backend services APIs authentication systems and enterprise platforms used within financial and insurance environments
Ensure application performance stability accessibility and security in accordance with organizational and industry best practices
Collaborate with UX teams to convert wireframes and functional requirements into high quality mobile user interfaces
Participate in code reviews maintain coding standards and support continuous integration and deployment practices
Identify defects support testing cycles and ensure end to end validation of key insurance user journeys
Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning refinement sessions daily stand ups and retrospectives

Required Skills and Experience:

Hands on experience building cross platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
Strong understanding of mobile development principles component lifecycles and state management frameworks such as Provider Bloc Riverpod or equivalent
Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs JSON authentication flows and secure data handling
Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes for both Android and iOS along with experience using version control systems and CI CD pipelines
Understanding of insurance workflows such as customer onboarding policy management payments claims processing and agent interactions
Familiarity with Agile methodologies SDLC processes secure coding standards and performance optimization practices

Professional Skills:

Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with distributed teams
Ability to work independently while maintaining high attention to quality and detail
Comfortable working in a client facing consulting oriented environment

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or related field
Relevant experience in digital platform or mobile development roles with hands on exposure to Flutter based implementations in enterprise projects

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 90,000 - 96,655.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
