Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned financial services and technology leader to drive strategic and operational delivery of Financial Crime Risk and Compliance (FCC) technology and analytics programs for major financial institution clients. This person will own the full client lifecycle — from business development and revenue growth to delivery of complex FCC technology transformations and regulatory remediations — while building and directing high-performing teams across compliance and monitoring domains
What You'll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide case management platforms and AI/ML-enabled solutions for AML and KYC alerts, case handling, and SAR filing, directing cross-functional teams of developers and business analysts.
- Own end-to-end technology roadmaps for a portfolio of financial institution clients, balancing account-specific strategy with broader practice objectives.
- Direct global AML, Fraud, and KYC technology portfolios, aligning delivery approaches with evolving international regulatory requirements.
- Build and scale Centers of Excellence around key FCC technology partners, establishing repeatable delivery models that raise service quality across client engagements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives on the strategic adoption of AI/ML, automation, and advanced analytics, guiding the transition from legacy rule-based systems to intelligence-driven detection frameworks.
- Integrate subject-matter expertise with program management discipline to drive innovation across account footprints while ensuring alignment with regulatory mandates.
- Support strategic planning, regulatory issue remediation, and the implementation of governance frameworks that meet ongoing compliance requirements.
- Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams, and manage practice or account P&L responsibility.
What We're Looking For
- Multiple years of financial services and systems experience, including 15-20+ years specializing in Financial Crime Risk and Compliance (FCC) technology and analytics.
- Hands-on expertise across the full compliance and monitoring lifecycle: data engineering and governance, business and regulatory requirements definition, model tuning and governance, scenario design, and case management.
- Working knowledge of major FCC vendor platforms such as Actimize, NetReveal, Oracle Mantas, Quantexa, RegTechOne, Senzing, Salesforce, Fenergo, Tableau, and Onspring (experience with a subset of these is welcome).
- Demonstrated success guiding financial institutions through strategic planning, regulatory remediation, and the implementation of technology and governance frameworks.
- Broad knowledge of financial products and domains, including Corporate, Correspondent, and Retail banking; Institutional and Retail Brokerage; and clearing and payment providers.
- Experience advising on or leading AI/ML and automation adoption within compliance or risk technology contexts.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and scale high-performing technical and analytical teams in a client-facing or consulting environment.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage client leadership on strategic and regulatory matters.
