Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Development Lead to lead the design development and delivery of enterprise grade integration and digital platform solutions. This role requires strong hands on technical leadership across MuleSoft integrations Java, Spring Boot development CICD automation and emerging AIMCP server capabilities along with experience in cloud and messaging technologies. The Development Lead will work onsite to closely collaborate with architecture product and delivery teams ensuring scalable secure and high quality solutions aligned with client's enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end to end design and development of integration and application solutions
Act as the technical lead and mentor for development teams providing code reviews and architectural guidance
Design and implement MuleSoft based integration architectures including APIs message flows and system integrations
Drive hands on development using Java and Spring Boot for enterprise scale applications
Implement and maintain CICD pipelines using Jenkins ensuring automated build test and deployment processes
Integrate AI related capabilities including MCP server concepts to support intelligent automation and next generation solutions
Collaborate with architects product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Ensure adherence to security performance scalability and compliance standards expected in an insurance enterprise
Support production readiness troubleshooting and performance optimization
Participate actively in Agile Scaled Agile delivery processes and release planning
Primary Skills Required:
MuleSoft Integration Architect:
Strong experience designing and implementing MuleSoft APIs and integration patterns
Java Senior Developer:
Extensive hands on experience with Java and Spring Boot
DevOps CI/CD:
Strong experience with Jenkins based CICD pipelines and automation
AI MCP Server Skills:
Exposure to MCP server concepts and AI driven solution components
Secondary Skills Preferred:
AWS Cloud Services:
Experience with RDS SQS S3 DynamoDB and related AWS services
Kafka:
Experience with event driven architectures and Kafka based messaging
Databases:
Strong working knowledge of Oracle databases
Experience in enterprise integration patterns and distributed systems
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
Proven experience as a Development Lead Technical Lead in large scale enterprise environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
Experience working in financial services or insurance environments is highly preferred
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 130,000 - 139,992.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
