Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Data Steward with strong expertise in the Investment Management domain to support enterprise-wide data governance, business glossary management, and business process initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge across Fixed Income, Quantitative Solutions, Real Estate Investments, and Global Wealth Management, along with the ability to collaborate closely with business, operations, data governance, and technology teams.
This role is critical in defining, standardizing, and governing key business terminology and ensuring consistency across systems, processes, and reporting environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in Investment Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services
- Proven experience in business glossary development and metadata management
- Strong understanding of business process mapping and operational workflows
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and manage enterprise business glossaries and metadata definitions
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to standardize investment management terminology
- Support data governance, metadata management, and data stewardship initiatives
- Review and validate business definitions, data lineage, and governance artifacts
- Understand, document, and optimize investment management business processes and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple investment domains
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and drive alignment on key business concepts
- Support data quality, regulatory, and governance initiatives across investment platforms
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of business terminology across systems and reporting environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with investment management platforms such as Aladdin
- Exposure to enterprise data governance frameworks
- Familiarity with data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Informatica, or similar
- Knowledge of data lineage, data quality, and governance best practices
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation or regulatory programs
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 78862- 90317
