Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurity Auto PD Consultant Developer with strong expertise in Personal Auto Insurance and the Insurity Policy Administration Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, enhancing, testing, and supporting policy administration solutions for Personal Auto lines of business. This role requires a combination of insurance domain knowledge, technical configuration expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into Insurity Auto PD configurations and solutions.
  • Configure and maintain policy administration components, including:
    • Products
    • Coverages
    • Rating
    • Business Rules
    • Forms
    • Workflows
    • Underwriting Guidelines
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design discussions, and solution workshops.
  • Develop and implement enhancements within the Insurity platform.
  • Support integrations with external systems such as rating engines, billing systems, claims systems, and third-party vendors.
  • Create and execute unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) test cases.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, project managers, and other technical resources.
  • Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation.
  • Support deployment activities and post-production validation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience working with Insurity Policy Administration Systems (PAS).
  • Expertise in Personal Auto Insurance and Auto Physical Damage (Auto PD) products.
  • In-depth understanding of:
    • Policy lifecycle management
    • Underwriting processes
    • Rating and quoting
    • Policy issuance
    • Endorsements
    • Renewals
    • Cancellations
  • Hands-on experience with configuration and customization within the Insurity platform.
  • Solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating Insurity solutions using APIs, web services, or middleware technologies.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and claims systems.
  • Experience with SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Exposure to cloud-based insurance platforms and solutions.
  • Insurity certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Insurance Technology.
  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Insurity Auto PD implementations and support.
  • Proven experience delivering policy administration solutions in a P&C insurance environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with Personal Lines Insurance products.
  • Knowledge of ISO regulations, state filing requirements, and insurance compliance standards.
  • Experience with end-to-end policy administration system implementations.
  • Understanding of insurance product configuration and regulatory compliance processes.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 61087 - 102364

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
