Key Responsibilities


Architecture & Solution Design

 

Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and cloud-native solutions.
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
Define architecture principles, standards, design patterns, and best practices across technology stacks.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide recommendations on system modernization and optimization.
Create high-level and low-level design artifacts, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.

 

Cloud & Platform Engineering

 

Architect and implement solutions leveraging AWS services such as:
Lambda
ECS/EKS
API Gateway
CloudFormation/Terraform
S3
RDS
DynamoDB
EventBridge
SQS/SNS
CloudWatch
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Develop cloud-native, event-driven, and microservices-based architectures.

 

Front-End Architecture

 

Define and govern frontend architecture standards using React.
Design reusable UI component libraries and frontend frameworks.
Drive implementation of responsive, accessible, and performant user experiences.
Establish integration patterns between React applications and backend services.

 

Technical Leadership

 

Mentor development teams on architecture, design, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical walkthroughs.
Provide technical leadership during project planning, estimation, and implementation.
Drive adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and automation practices.

 

Integration & API Strategy

 

Design RESTful APIs, event-driven integration models, and service-oriented architectures.
Evaluate and recommend integration solutions across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises platforms.
Establish API governance, versioning, security, and monitoring standards.

Required Qualifications

 

Experience

 

8+ years of software engineering experience.
3+ years in a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Lead Architect role.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale applications.
Experience leading distributed development teams and cross-functional initiatives.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 86129 - 127189

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
