Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic AWS Cloud and Generative AI Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in business development, with a strong understanding of public cloud platforms and generative AI technologies. This role requires a deep knowledge of the financial services domain, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of generating revenue.

 

Duties and responsibilities:


  • •    Drive sales effort centered around cloud migration, modernization, and generative AI
    •    Identify and pursue new business opportunities for a specific financial services customer
    •    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams
    •    Provide client facing demos, presentations and webinars
    •    Thoroughly understand client business goals, challenges and technology needs
    •    Design and propose AWS cloud architecture solutions according to well-architected principals
    •    Drive RFP responses and coordinate with all required disciplines (sales, delivery, product management)
    •    Provide trusted expertise through deep technical, domain and industry knowledge
    •    Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide strategic insights and recommendations

 

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

 

  • 10+ years of experience in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent supporting strategic accounts
  •  Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud Platform and specialty in one or more services such as Amazon Connect, AWS Transform, Bedrock
  •  In-depth knowledge of the financial services domain and its unique challenges and opportunities
  •  Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  •  Proven track record of generating revenue and achieving business growth
  •  Ability to articulate the value and differences of various cloud and GenAI offerings and services and containerization technologies
  •  Hands on experience in migration of on premise to cloud and best practices
  •  Demonstrated technical skills in a technical area like Cloud migration, cloud native application development and deployment, Cloud
  • Security, Server/OS management, generative AI
  • Good understanding of 6R cloud migration, cloud strategy development and cloud business case development
  • A strong understanding of Security, Risk, and Compliance for large scale enterprise computing solutions
  • Hands-on seasoned solutions architect experience and architecting, designing and implementing cloud-based and/or cloud-native solutions
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is strongly desired

 

Desired Certifications:
    

  • Professional level architect certification for AWS: Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, GenAI Developer
  • Anthropic Claude Certified Architect
  • AWS specialty certifications 

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is 128513 - 210000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
