Network Engineer
The Opportunity
As a Network Engineer within Group IT, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting a secure and resilient global network infrastructure. You will work with a wide range of networking and security technologies, ensuring high availability, performance, and operational excellence in a 24x7 enterprise environment.
You will take ownership of complex network issues, collaborate across technical teams, and contribute to the stability and evolution of our global network landscape. This role offers hands‑on exposure to modern networking technologies, large‑scale environments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation, operation, and ongoing support of enterprise network and security infrastructure. You will work across switching, routing, wireless, and security domains, ensuring stable and secure connectivity for a global organization.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, wireless components, WAN technologies, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and network security solutions
- Implement and troubleshoot switching and routing technologies, including VLANs, STP/MST, EtherChannel, VPC/MLAG, and IP routing protocols
- Design, implement, and support routing solutions using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, static routing, route filtering, summarization, and policy‑based routing
- Implement and troubleshoot network access control solutions, including Cisco ISE (authentication, profiling, and posturing)
- Support and maintain network and security platforms such as Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ISR, ASA, Checkpoint, FortiGate, Juniper, Arista, and Aruba
- Perform advanced network and security troubleshooting, including packet capture and traffic analysis
- Take full ownership of customer‑reported issues and drive them through to resolution, ensuring clear communication and timely closure
- Support a 24x7x365 operation, including rotational shifts and on‑call responsibilities, when required

Your Profile
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of switching, routing, and wireless technologies, preferably with Cisco and Arista platforms
- Solid expertise in network security and firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, and FortiGate NGFW
- Proven experience with enterprise routing protocols and Layer 2 technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including packet capture and root cause analysis
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong sense of ownership and customer focus
(CCNA/CCNP certification preferred; experience with SD‑WAN, DNAC, Python, or Ansible is a strong plus)
