Your Role

  • OS Migration-major upgradation (RHEL 6-RHEL 7, Solaris 10-Solaris 11.4) and application migration/cutover,Filesystem/ Disk Management Logical Volume Manager (EXT, XTS, GFS2), Solaris filesystem (ZFS), Veritas Volume Manager (VXFS], NFS, Samba and ASM.
  • Server Build- Linux and Solaris enterprise server build end-to-end. (Virtual machines, physical machines, Solaris LDOMS)
  • Patch Configuration and Management-Configuration of OS patches as per industry standards and deploying the patches on large scale of virtual machines and physical servers using multiple methods. (Automation tools, scripts, manual patching using YUM and Solaris Repository)
  • User and Access Management-User and group creation, centralized access administration, setting up accounts in CyberArk.

Your Profile

  • Filesystem/ Disk Management Logical Volume Manager (EXT, XTS, GFS2), Solaris filesystem (ZFS), Veritas Volume Manager (VXFS], NFS, Samba and ASM.
  • Server Build- Linux and Solaris enterprise server build end-to-end. (Virtual machines, physical machines, Solaris LDOMS)
  • Networking Configuration of network/ IP addresses, NIC bonding, troubleshooting network issues in server hardware
  • Red Hat Satellite Administration (Licensing) and maintenance of Red Hat Satellite server.
  • Hardware/ Firmware Administration, firmware patching and maintenance activities. (HPE servers, Oracle SPARC 17-2, TS-4 servers)
