Senior Tanium Engineer

Your Role

• Design, implement, administer, and optimize the Tanium Platform across large-scale enterprise environments. Manage and support Tanium modules including Deploy, Patch, Comply, Asset, Discover, Interact, Client Management, and Provisioning to ensure endpoint visibility, security, compliance, software deployment, and operational excellence.
• Serve as the L3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for complex Tanium platform issues while driving platform engineering, automation, reporting, and integration initiatives.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize Windows OS imaging and provisioning solutions using Tanium Provisioning capabilities. Manage enterprise imaging activities including gold image creation, PXE deployments, Windows PE (WinPE), bare-metal deployments, task sequence management, driver injection, operating system rollouts, endpoint refresh programs, and lifecycle management.
• Develop custom Tanium sensors, packages, actions, dashboards, and automation workflows to improve operational efficiency and endpoint management capabilities.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of Tanium client communication issues, endpoint connectivity issues, sensor and package failures, deployment problems, imaging failures, PXE boot issues, and task sequence errors

Your Profile

• 6 to 12 years of experience in Tanium Platform administration, engineering, and enterprise endpoint management.
• Hands-on expertise with Tanium Deploy, Patch, Comply, Asset, Discover, Interact, Client Management, and Provisioning modules.
• Strong experience managing Windows 10/11 endpoints, operating system deployment, software distribution, endpoint compliance, and device lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation development, deployment automation, and configuration management.
• Experience designing and managing gold images, PXE boot environments, WinPE, bare-metal deployments, task sequences, operating system migrations, and endpoint refresh programs.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint security, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, security hardening, and audit reporting.
