SAP BASIS & HANA Administrator

Your Role

• Lead and manage day-to-day SAP BASIS operations across ABAP and Java stacks.
• Handle SAP system installations, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Support and administer SAP landscapes including S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SLT, PI/PO, GTS, GRC, and Solution Manager.
• Manage and optimize SAP HANA database administration, including system health, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Design and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for SAP systems.
• Perform backup, recovery, and system refresh activities across SAP environments.
• Administer SAP systems hosted on AWS, including EC2, storage, and networking components.
• Manage SUSE Linux Enterprise OS-level administration and SAP-related configurations.
• Implement and maintain SUSE cluster setups in AWS environments.

Your Profile

• 9 to 12 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with strong exposure to SAP HANA.
• Proven expertise in managing SAP ABAP and Java stacks in complex landscapes.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA database management.
• Experience working with AWS infrastructure for SAP workloads.
• Solid knowledge of Linux system administration (SUSE Enterprise).
• Hands-on experience in High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Backup/Recovery strategies.
• Experience with SUSE cluster setup and maintenance, preferably in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP refresh processes.
• Working knowledge of SAP BTP, Cloud ALM, and Datasphere concepts.
• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills.
