Your Role
-
Own and manage the Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) and CMDB processes within the ITSM framework

Maintain and update the CMDB, ensuring all configuration items (CIs) accurately reflect the current IT environment
-
Oversee CI classification, categorization, and relationship mapping across infrastructure and applications

Monitor and improve CMDB data quality, resolving inconsistencies and ensuring data reliability
-
Ensure governance, compliance, and adherence to CMDB standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

Perform periodic audits to validate CMDB accuracy and completeness

Collaborate with IT Operations, Service Management, and other teams to capture and update asset data

Support Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management processes with accurate configuration data

Generate reports and analytics to track CI trends, compliance, and operational insights

Drive continuous improvement and optimization of CMDB processes, tools, and integrations
Your Profile
-
4 to 6 years of experience in SACM and CMDB management within an ITSM environment

Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery tools

Good understanding of ITIL practices, especially Configuration and Change Management

Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, databases, cloud, and applications)

Experience in data management, automation, and CMDB integrations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
