About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Platform Automation Developer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building platform-level automation solutions that enable deployment, configuration, packaging, orchestration, and lifecycle management of applications across Linux, Windows, VM, and containerized environments.

Your Role

As a Platform Automation Developer, you will design and develop automation frameworks, orchestration services, deployment tooling, and platform utilities that improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to deliver robust automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop platform-level automation and orchestration components for deployment, configuration, packaging, and management of application workloads.
• Build automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash/Shell, and related technologies.
• Automate application installation, configuration, service management, environment setup, and health validation processes.
• Develop and maintain container images, Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and deployment packages.
• Create build, release, and packaging automation for Linux and Windows-based applications.
• Develop PowerShell automation for Windows workloads and Python/Shell automation for Linux environments.
• Integrate automation components with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Implement logging, monitoring, validation, exception handling, rollback, and retry mechanisms within automation workflows.
• Develop APIs, CLI tools, and platform services to support automated provisioning and environment management.
• Implement secure handling of credentials, certificates, secrets, and configuration parameters.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Automation Development, DevOps, or Infrastructure Automation.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on expertise in PowerShell and Bash/Shell scripting.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience creating and maintaining Helm Charts, Kubernetes manifests, and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of Docker containerization and image management.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts and automation frameworks.
• Experience developing APIs, command-line tools, or automation services.
