Managing Delivery Executive

Opportunity

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned Director/Sr. Director-level executive to lead presales and solution architecture engagements across hyperscaler platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), with a strong preference for candidates with deep delivery leadership or enterprise architecture experience. This role is ideal for a technology leader with a strong background in delivery management or senior architecture, who is now looking to drive strategic solutioning and client transformation journeys.

The role will involve working closely with CXOs and senior stakeholders to define, shape, and deliver cloud-first, agile-enabled, and integration-rich solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a technology-agnostic mindset, strong domain awareness, and the ability to anchor large, multi-stream deals from inception to closure.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading end-to-end solutioning for large-scale deals, including strategy, architecture, and delivery model design.
• Driving client value propositions, win themes, and strategic messaging throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Creating solution pitches, engagement roadmaps, and scoping documents for managed services, AMS, and scaled agile engagements.
• Collaborating across sales, delivery, and commercial teams to shape compelling and differentiated proposals.
• Leading technology solutioning and estimation activities, ensuring alignment with client goals and enterprise architecture principles.
• Providing technical assurance and risk mitigation support during deal closure and contract negotiations.
• Staying abreast of industry trends, including GenAI, cloud-native architectures, and integration patterns.

Our Ideal Candidate experience

The ideal candidate will have 18–20 years of total industry experience, with a proven track record as a Delivery Lead (Engagement Manager) or Senior Architect. They will bring a deep understanding of at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and expertise in a core technology stack (e.g., Java, Microsoft, or open-source).

Key Qualifications:

• Strong experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) with hands-on architecture and delivery exposure.
• Expertise in one core tech stack (Java, Microsoft, or open source).
• Deep understanding of integration architectures (APIs, messaging, middleware, events).
• Proven experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Broad technology awareness and understanding of industry trends such as GenAI and cloud-native evolution.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or SAFe.

Solutioning Experience (Must-Have):

• Demonstrated ability to lead solution strategy and define detailed solution approaches.
• Experience in writing solution responses, building engagement roadmaps, and shaping delivery and commercial models.
• Exposure to various deal types – managed services, AMS, scaled agile.
• Ability to anchor multi-stream deals and integrate solution components across workstreams.
• Strong writing and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Domain expertise in any sector is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Architect).
• Exposure to GenAI, AI/ML, and modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with Google CES (CCAI) or similar customer engagement solutions.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to work across geographies and cultures.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive change and build scalable solutions.
