The Opportunity
The Delivery Director is responsible for leading multiple large-scale engagements for a client. This includes ensuring project quality, optimizing cost efficiency, maintaining client satisfaction, and proactively managing risks. The role also involves organizational leadership and operational oversight to strengthen delivery capabilities and support business growth.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Client-Focused Delivery Leadership
- Review and approve delivery plans during the proposal and planning stages to ensure alignment with client expectations and risk profile.
- Monitor the quality and progress of ongoing projects and support project managers to resolve delivery issues.
- Ensure high client satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns and acting as a senior escalation point when needed.
- Maintain long-term strategic relationships with key clients.
- Client relationship (at a Delivery level)
- Organizational Leadership and Internal Collaboration
- Oversee risk management activities across all projects, ensuring early identification and mitigation of potential issues.
- Ensure delivery governance standards are followed, including regular reviews and compliance with project and quality management frameworks.
- Participate in key decision-making processes for high-value or complex projects.

- Promote the use of modern delivery practices and tools, including automation, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Ensure consistency in delivery methods and project execution across all teams.
- Lead talent development, including mentoring, performance reviews, and succession planning for key delivery roles.

- Acts as a single point of contact for the client organization in troubleshooting and resolving all issues arising from delivery-related accounting activities.
- Understands what it takes to manage a business and uses the insights to better understand a client’s need and position the right Capgemini offerings in conjunction with the Practice to bring value to the client.
- Ensure implementation of best practices in the areas of People, Process, Technology, and Controls in conjunction with the Practice Teams (Process and Technology).
Our Ideal Candidate
- Should have led large clients and multi portfolio delivery for US market
- Strong People/Performance management experience
- Good experience in delivering Transformation projects for clients including Automation using Industry Tools.
- Focused on customer value and improvement of overall customer experience (C-SAT, internal quality processes).
- Leadership skills in a multicultural environment, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work internationally.
- Ability to influence senior business stakeholders at the client end.
- Strong relationship building, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to bring innovation to challenges and overcome problems and obstacles as they arise and act and produce desired outcomes with limited direction.
