Production Support Engineer – GE Proficy

Location: Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai
Experience: 4–9 Years

Join us to play a key role in ensuring seamless manufacturing operations by supporting GE Proficy Plant Applications and Historian systems. You’ll work in a fast-paced production support environment, focusing on system stability, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview

Provide end-to-end production support for GE Proficy Plant Applications (PlantApps) and Historian systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, monitoring, system configuration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain GE Proficy Plant Applications & Historian systems
• Perform system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Analyze and resolve application, database, and integration issues
• Develop, optimize, and debug SQL queries and stored procedures
• Work with infrastructure teams to ensure system performance and availability

Technical Skills

• GE Proficy Plant Applications (v7+) and Historian (v5+)
• SQL Server (stored procedures – mandatory)

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience in MES production support environments
• Strong hands-on expertise in production support and incident management
