DLP Analyst | 4 years to 6 years | Bengaluru, Mumbai, Hyderabad

Job Description

•            Participate in the ongoing optimization of Digital Guardian SaaS (DLP) (or) MS Purview (DLP) policies to prevent data loss across various channels (email, cloud storage, endpoints, etc.)

•            Analyze DLP alerts and events to identify potential data breaches or exfiltration attempts.

•            Investigate security incidents related to data loss, working with internal teams to understand the root cause, remediate the issue, and prevent future occurrences.

•            Collaborate with security engineers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration of DLP with existing security infrastructure.

•            Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest data security threats, DLP best practices, and product functionalities.

•            Generate reports and provide insights into DLP effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

•            Participate in security awareness training programs to educate employees on data security policies and best practices.

•            Document DLP configurations, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer.

•            Strong understanding of data security best practices and data loss prevention (DLP) concepts.

•            Experience working with DLP solutions (preferably Digital Guardian SaaS or MS Purview or similar products).

Primary skills

• scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus
• security frameworks (NIST CSF, PCI DSS) is a plus
