Your Role

  • Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) / Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) environments.
  • Oversee Cloud VDI operations including FSLogix profile management, App Attach, host pool administration, and image lifecycle management.
  • Design and implement Azure Virtual Desktop architectures, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Manage user identity and profile solutions including FSLogix, Azure AD, and hybrid identity configurations.
  • Implement and manage networking and storage components required for AVD, including VNETs, NSGs, firewalls, storage accounts, and file shares.
  • Design, develop, and debug scalable End User Computing (EUC) solutions tailored for enterprise environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, networking, and modern workplace teams to support end-to-end AVD deployments.

Your Profile

  • 6 - 9 years of experience as a Windows Desktop Engineer, with strong hands-on experience in Cloud VDI operations.
  • Proven experience managing Azure Virtual Desktop / WVD, FSLogix, App Attach, and multi-session Windows environments.
  • Strong capability in designing AVD architectures, including identity, profiles, networking, and storage.
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining pooled and personal host pools, session host images, and golden image pipelines.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 products including Office 365, SharePoint, EM+S (Enterprise Mobility + Security).
  • Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, ADC, or Provisioning is a strong advantage.
  • Strong documentation skills for architecture, operational procedures, and runbooks
